Oyster Venom is an online resource, designed to help you discover the art of effortless entertaining with food, drink and music. It was set up as a place to find inspiration for get-togethers and give confidence to those who find organising gatherings at home both difficult and stressful.
Oooh that’s a good question! The name was chosen to be unique and memorable – there aren’t many Oyster Venom’s out there!
Oysters are luxurious and unusual, and once you have cracked the tough exterior, you gain access to the soft delicious centre. If you’re lucky, you may even find a jewel in the shape of a pearl.
Venom is a type of poison and the phrase what’s your poison is often asked when someone wants to know what you would like to drink.
No there is no charge for the majority of the information on the Oyster Venom website, except for the Pearls of Wisdom and the items in our shop.
Pearls of Wisdom are guides which cover everything you need for your next get-together. Each guide allows you to cook wonderful food for great nights in with your friends, where you will discover the art of effortless entertaining with food drink and music.
Each guide provides detailed recipes, a music playlist, drinks ideas, advice on setting the scene, a master shopping list and a to do timetable.
The cost of each Pearl of Wisdom is £8.95
That’s fine, we have a sample Pearl of Wisdom which you can see so you understand what you will get and how it will look. Click here to see the sample.
You go into the shop and decide on which Pearl of Wisdom you want.
You buy the Pearl of Wisdom using a credit or debit card.
The Pearl of Wisdom you have purchased will be accessed in your own personal Account Page, where you can build up your collection of guides and they will always be there to refer back to.
All you do is login to your Account Page and everything is there.
We want our Pearls of Wisdom to constantly evolve and so we need to make updates and changes to ensure that all the information is current and accurate.
If we sent you your pearl of Wisdom in a PDF format then we wouldn’t be able to make changes, improvements and updates as we can with a web page.
Everything is possible! If you want a special Pearl of Wisdom for a particular get together then get in touch and let’s talk about what we can create just for you.
Your Account Page is the place where your Pearls of Wisdom guides are kept. Think of it as a library. When you buy your guide, you create your own login details and every time you buy a guide it goes into your special area so you can access it with your login details any time you like.
Currently, we accept debit card and credit card payments through our website.
Oyster Venom’s payment page is encrypted. Any information you enter is not accessible by outside parties. Oyster Venom uses Stripe as a payment processor, an accredited institution that securely handles millions of credit card transactions.
